Female empowerment has been a narrative present throughout her career with a strong focus on sports.

Kelly’s work is reminiscent of Matisse’s collage, but with a twist for the modern age.

Through the past few years Kelly has created a vast and diverse body of work. She has designed trainers, painted murals (14 to be precise), curated exhibitions, taken over buildings, and even embellished popcorn packets.

Her success has been solidified by the collaborations she has worked on, from designing for Nike and Lego to having some of her prints worn by the likes of Beyonce and Cara Delevingne.

Alongside her work Kelly has spoken at 15 of the biggest Art & design festivals across the globe, most notably being a headline act at USBYNIGHT in Antwerp and GDFS in Scotland

A CHAT WITH KELLY ANNA

We recently spoke with artist and designer Kelly Anna known for her powerful, silhouetted figures.

Female empowerment has been a narrative present throughout her career with a strong focus on sports. We love her use of colour and of course the strong meaning behind her work.

We asked Kelly Anna a few questions regarding her recent renovation...

Do you have a top tip for the home and renovating?

Try and invest time into sourcing unusual, antique or one of a kind pieces. These items have added so much personality to our home. We found an amazing bespoke lighting designer in Tel Aviv and ended up designing the colourway of our light fittings directly with her, it was so worth it as they are such a feature and we love them.

What are your favourite products in your home and why?

I love our Sowden kettle and toaster from Hay or on a slightly bigger scale, our Hayche dining set. It does seem like food might be leading my choices.

You’re very confident with colour – what’s your favourite colour combo and why?

My favourite colours change with my mood, the weather, or where I am. At the moment it would be fluro lime, lavender and majorelle blue.
