We've just got back from attending the annual design event 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen and wanted to share our top highlights from the trip...

The Audo

We were lucky enough to attend the pre-launch of The Audo which is a concept store, boutique residence, material library, restaurant, cafe and event space all wrapped into one. It's a new must when visiting Copenhagen...

The Restaurant 'Host'

The award winning Scandinavian restaurant Host is located in a classic Copenhagen building on the corner of Nørre Farimagsgade and Ahlefeldtsgade.

The exposed brick walls and minimal interiors were right up our street with our favourite Danish brand HAY's J77 and J104 dining chairs at every table... The food was to die for and we had a really lovely evening with our friends at Menu and Utility Design.

FRAMA x House of Grey collaboration 'Senses'

We were wowed by this years FRAMA display and curation with North London Design studio House of Grey. The FRAMA studio is located in Copenhagen and is the former home of the St. Pauls Apotek. The curation called 'Senses' has a straight forward approach using natural materials. The curation offers a sense of simplicity with timeless design. It has definitely inspired us for future interior design projects.

Muuto Showroom

The new Muuto showroom was based on two floors and showcased some of their exciting new pieces. This included the Linear Wood Series and Ambit Wall Lamp. After we had a walk around we enjoyed a cocktail on the roof terrace which was a perk...

HAY House

Saving the best till last... HAY House displayed the launch of many new products across furniture, lighting and accessories. It has given us a lot of ideas and we are super excited to stock some of the new stylish pieces. The top three products for us were -

1) Copenhague Extendable Dining Table is the newest member of the Copenhague range designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for HAY. Its extendable function sets it apart from the rest of the Copenhague collection...

2) The BonBon Lamp by Ana Kras which is a hand-woven lantern that uses an original weaving technique. It is a piece art and would be a great addition to any home...

3) The Ellipse Tray which is the move on from the classic Kaleido Trays by Clara Von Zweigbergk. The colours are just gorgeous...we can't wait to have these in stock very soon...
